The CWL Spectrum installs at your home's main water service line (usually located in your garage) to filter all the water in your home. The appliance adapts to any plumbing line size (from 3/4″ to 1 1/2″ common sizes) for easy install and installing this water filtration appliance is as easy as installing a water heater. Complete installation information comes with every appliance, so any plumber can do it. Installation requirements are simple – connection to your home's main water service line (usually located in your garage, or next to your water heater), a convenient place to drain or reuse the appliance's eco-friendly self-cleaning water, and a standard 110v electric outlet for the electronic valve head (this consumes only the power of a doorbell). No salt softener plumbing loops or bypasses needed (these are used to prevent drinking taps, pools, and plants from using salt softened water). Drain (backwash) water is safe and can be used for plants and gardening. Backwashing is of the utmost importance to the health and longevity of the filtration media. Prevents packing, channeling, and bacterial growth.

CWL Spectrum has a 37 gallon per minute (gpm) flow rate, which means it will not limit flow rate or water pressure.

Processing Time

Most orders leave the factory facility within 3-5 business days. Larger whole home appliances (like the Spectrum, salt softeners, 1465, etc.) and specialty products (like iron removal, pH systems, etc.) can take up to 10 business days to process. Each product is machined by hand and individually checked for quality, so we cannot guarantee a faster turnaround time (though it does happen).

Shipping Time – Contiguous 48 States

All filter replacements and smaller appliances like drinking water systems, reverse osmosis systems, Heater Guards, and single stage filtration systems ship standard via common carrier (FedEx, USPS, or UPS). These carriers typically deliver within 3-7 business days, depending on your location.

All media replacements and larger tank appliances like the EWS Spectrum, CWL Spectrum, 1465, 1865, salt softeners, pH systems, etc. ship via freight truck. Freight trucking typically delivers within 3-10 business days depending on your location.

Shipping Info – Alaska & Hawaii

Alaska and Hawaii are charged shipping. We don't have any handling fees. Shipping is simply a pass-through cost directly from FedEx or UPS. Please also note that shipping rates are weight-based. The weight of any item can be found on its product page. All weights are rounded up to the next full pound to comply with UPS shipping policy. Please see above for rough estimates on processing and shipping times.

International Orders

International orders incur shipping charges. Before placing any international orders, please contact us so we can ensure that you will be receiving the proper outlets and fittings to suit your home or facility. You may prefer to ship to a USA-based freight forwarder, since we will ship free to your USA freight forwarder (contiguous 48 states only). The freight forwarder would then bill you for shipment to your international address. Please refer to them for their shipping timeframes. If we ship directly to your international address, please be aware that shipping times can increase because of customs or shipping provider delays, which are both outside our control.
