The CWL Spectrum installs at your home's main water service line (usually located in your garage) to filter all the water in your home. The appliance adapts to any plumbing line size (from 3/4″ to 1 1/2″ common sizes) for easy install and installing this water filtration appliance is as easy as installing a water heater. Complete installation information comes with every appliance, so any plumber can do it. Installation requirements are simple – connection to your home's main water service line (usually located in your garage, or next to your water heater), a convenient place to drain or reuse the appliance's eco-friendly self-cleaning water, and a standard 110v electric outlet for the electronic valve head (this consumes only the power of a doorbell). No salt softener plumbing loops or bypasses needed (these are used to prevent drinking taps, pools, and plants from using salt softened water). Drain (backwash) water is safe and can be used for plants and gardening. Backwashing is of the utmost importance to the health and longevity of the filtration media. Prevents packing, channeling, and bacterial growth.

CWL Spectrum has a 37 gallon per minute (gpm) flow rate, which means it will not limit flow rate or water pressure.

¹Based on your local water conditions and usage.

*Well water is required to have independent, complete, and proper testing of your well water to determine the proper course of action to specify the correct system(s).

**VOCs or volatile organic compounds are man-made pollutants. There are over 80,000 contaminants categorized as VOCs including pharmaceuticals, pesticides, fluoride, PFOAs, PFA, and Gen X.

Meets or exceeds all FDA, NSF, ANSI, and California State standards and compliances. Made in the USA.

I purchased this system from Water on the Web just over 1 year ago, and I think it's about time I write a review! The people at Water on the Web were very nice and shipped the system promptly. I even called the manufacturer, Environmental Water Systems, to see if they had any plumbers to recommend and the plumber they referred installed the system without a problem for a fair price. Right off the bat I was a happy camper. For over 1 year now it's been smooth sailing. Not a day goes by that I am not amazed with the quality of the water coming out of my taps. I am a cell biologist and my wife is a nutritionist, so we can both immensely appreciate the fact that we are no longer immersing ourselves in known carcinogens. While we did have filters before (small ones in the showers, a faucet attachment at the sink), they were not simply not doing the job we wanted them to do. I was also tired of replacing the small filter cartridges every 1, 2, or 3 months. While the system is not cheap, neither is the quality of the system. It has a very nice, sleek digital display and the whole thing is very solid and very heavy. The quality of the system itself is excellent, and I much prefer to support products like this that are made in the United States (and that to me is worth more right there). We are extremely pleased and would repurchase again in a heartbeat.

I live in L.A. where the water is nasty. It tastes and smells so bad!! I bought this appliance last month and my plumber installed it (duh, I don't know anything about plumbing). First I love the white cover and blue lights! The appliance is attractive, so when I have my garage door up it doesn't look like I have some weird, cheapo thing in my garage. My neighbors have asked me what it is and I tell them to go buy one! Most importantly though I love my water now. It smells good and clean and my hair and skin feel soft. I went 2 extra weeks dying my hair, which saved me about $165 right there. Also it doesn't tangle as easily anymore and I don't get all ashy on my arms and knees anymore. LOVE!!! Thank you!!! Candice
